Be the Light!
Matthew 5:16
Jubilee Generation was founded in 1998 with excellence in music as its main objective. From 1998 to 2006, the choir was attached to the St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church. In 2003, the leadership embarked on training in the technical and administrative aspects of music ministry with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in New York, USA. This training allowed the team to gain a deeper appreciation of music ministry. By 2007, the ministry moved away from service to the parish and proceeded on a one-year sabbatical in order to better understand Jubilee's mission and to focus on the formation of its members. Though several members declined the invitation to continue the journey, Jubilee has remained resolute in its mission to be obedient to the will of Almighty God. |

We work to keep God at the center and to provide inspired ministry that contributes to the church's evangelization efforts in modern society. As Caribbean people, we are committed to exploring musical expressions in writing, arranging and producing quality music that is reflective of the region. We are also committed to using music and music education as tools to unite, reform and empower. We are, first and foremost the People of God. We are Caribbean people. We are Jubilee people! |
