A FEW THOUGHTS ABOUT OUR LOGO

Our organization was founded by 5 women. Five women, five unique experiences of womanhood. And so, there were more than a few perspectives on how best it should be expressed in a logo. In the end, and after much debate, we could think of no way to express the concept of WOMANHOOD that is more profound than what you see here.

Mind you, that is not to discredit the personal decisions made daily about how we choose to live as women. Not in the least! Nevertheless, the ability to give life is what is reserved for us and us alone. And for our team, at least, whatever a woman's personal decision or circumstances it is still - collectively - what makes us truly unique.

Celebrating the Genius of Women

Jubilee Women's Ministry and the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission Celebrates Women was a series of articles that focused on the various roles of women in the church. The series was published in the Catholic News in 2010, beginning with "The Genius of Women" by Saint John Paul II and includes 5 articles written by various women, including members of Jubilee Women's Ministry.
