Protecting Children from the Harmful Effects of Pornography.

Between 2008 and 2011, Trinidad and Tobago was cited by top Internet search engine Google as ranking number one in the world per capita for online pornography hits. Since then, this country has ranked in the top ten, dropping to 4th out of 195 countries in 2014.
In response, the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission - in conjunction with Jubilee Catholic Community ― embarked on the Consider This! project to inform and sensitize the public about the harmful effects of pornography. The fourth phase of the series, Consider This! A National Conversation on the Harmful Effects of Pornography on Children and Families, is a dynamic and engaging conference which will be held in October, 2016. The conference will bring together a panel of local and international experts to discuss several key issues, including the Impact of Internet Pornography on Marriages & Families, the Neurological Considerations of Pornography Addiction, and much more. |
